Security Strategist Role

The Security Strategist role is crucial in driving a culture of security within an organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to deliver high-standard security management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute comprehensive security strategies to safeguard organisational assets
  • Set the strategic direction for Protective Security, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
  • Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and systems to mitigate potential risks
  • Conduct regular reviews of protective security service providers to ensure optimal performance
  • Design and implement effective analysis tools and modelling systems for security systems
  • Represent the organisation externally on security forums and collaborate with Commonwealth security and enforcement agencies

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in security, intelligence, and criminology
  • A Protective Security Training College Diploma of Government (Security)
  • Experience in security vetting and protective security technical competence
  • Extensive experience in security risk and threat assessment and management
