Role Impact

As a Staff Android Engineer, you'll drive the next evolution of our mobile experience — powering real-world connections for millions of users.

You'll lead engineering efforts that push boundaries. You'll set technical direction, design for scale, and mentor others — helping us raise the bar as we scale globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop core Android features, including hardware integrations, widgets, and system components
  • Design scalable mobile architectures and influence platform-wide patterns
  • Collaborate across product, design, and backend teams to build seamless user experiences
  • Drive internal tooling, process improvements, and performance optimisations
  • Mentor Android engineers and guide technical decision-making across teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Android development, with deep proficiency in Kotlin and Java
  • Track record of architecting complex mobile systems using MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
  • Strong leadership in cross-functional technical initiatives and mobile strategy
  • Familiarity with Android performance, security, and design best practices
  • Passion for mentoring, collaboration, and building with long-term impact in mind
