Mediix, a reputable private practice clinic, is seeking an accomplished and passionate Private Practice Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis in Sydney's south western suburbs.
Key Responsibilities- We are looking for a highly skilled professional to perform thorough assessments of patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on therapy to patients using various techniques and modalities.
- They will prescribe and demonstrate exercises to help patients regain their mobility and strength, while also monitoring and documenting their progress throughout the treatment.
- We expect our ideal candidate to educate patients and their families on self-management techniques and exercises they can continue at home.
- A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- The role requires staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of physiotherapy and actively participating in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy is essential.
- Current registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills are crucial for this role.
- A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care is expected.
Benefits Package:
- We offer a competitive salary (dependent on experience) ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum.
