About the Role

AWX is seeking experienced Civil Labourers for work opportunities with multiple clients in Townsville and surrounding areas. You need to have the ability to commence immediately. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive attitude and be self-motivated.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in civil construction within pipelaying or road maintenance/upgrade is highly regarded
  • Must have a valid Driver's Licence, MR Drivers Licence or above is highly regarded but not essential
  • Construction White Card
  • Additional tickets such as Roller, Excavator, Dozer, Moxy, Grader RII's highly regarded but not essential
  • Confined Space is highly regarded
  • Must be a resident of Townsville
  • Physically fit and capable for manual duties
Generic Requirements
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, physical and D&A
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Ability to work away if/when required
  • A quick learner who can think on their feet
  • Reliable and flexible
