About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Industry Maintenance Technician to join our client's team on a mine site workshop based in Blackwater, QLD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with routine services and maintenance repairs (necessary and preventative maintenance) to their fleet of modern trucks, side/end tippers, and trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine services and maintenance repairs to heavy industry machinery and equipment
  • Assist in ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

About the Opportunity

This is a casual ongoing position with the potential for permanency. The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $81 per hour, as well as camp and accommodation provided.

The 7/7 rotating roster offers a great work-life balance, with 10-12 hour shifts allowing you to plan your time outside of work.

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised Tradesman certificate
  • Experience working on mining equipment, heavy industry machinery, or trucks and trailers highly regarded
  • Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 requirements must be met
  • HC/MC Licence highly regarded
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive safety mindset
  • Able to pass required pre-employment medical and D&A
