Job Description:

This senior engineer position offers the opportunity to lead project implementation, system analysis and design, timely delivery, customer satisfaction, technical support, and technology evaluation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project manager and technical lead to ensure smooth and correct implementation of customer solutions.
  • Perform system analysis, technical design, implementation, and maintenance of systems focusing on Cloud and infrastructure technologies.
  • Ensure technical delivery activities are performed in a timely manner according to contracted terms and agreed design.
  • Meet corporate customer satisfaction standards and follow up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the service or products provided.
  • Resolve complex problems with clients' systems and/or software applications and provide technical support to client requests.
  • Assist in technically evaluating new and emerging technologies for their fit within MSP's product portfolio.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of related technical experience working with M365 and cloud technologies and with mid-market clients that are between 100 to 1000 seats.
  • Previous experience in an MSP environment particularly with Project Delivery.
  • Ability to work unsupervised onsite/remote for extended periods or as part of a team.
  • Technical expertise in the design implementation and support of systems applied to small and medium environments.
  • Experience with Cross Tenant Google and/or On-Prem to Microsoft 365 migrations Identity SSO Email OneDrive SharePoint Teams Intune Defender.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID Conditional Access PIM/PAM.
  • Microsoft Unified Endpoint Management Windows Autopilot Intune MDM/MAM configurations for Apple and Android.
  • SharePoint Online / Microsoft Teams Design Implementation and Migration including Governance and Security.
  • Hybrid Exchange Configuration Migration and Decommissioning.
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint configurations and hardening best practices.
  • Microsoft Purview for data protection and governance.
  • Windows Server 2016 2019 and 2022.
  • Understanding of well-known security frameworks such as CIS or Essential 8 for best practice configurations.
  • Expertise in fault finding and problem diagnosis for infrastructure and network issues.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills able to quickly develop rapport and credibility with clients at all levels and maintain those relationships for the duration of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment enthusiasm and drive with the ability to work through conflicting pressures and priorities.
  • Relevant vendor certifications across Azure IaaS design and migration Microsoft Viva Microsoft Copilot Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365.
