About the Role:The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality nursing care within the scope of practice.
Key responsibilities include providing excellent care to residents, managing and supervising a team of support workers, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred optimal care.
Requirements for success in this role include:
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Rural and remote nursing experience is highly regarded
- Aged care experience is also highly valued
- At the Swansea facility: sub-acute and emergency experience is highly desirable or a commitment to train in this area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Eligibility to work in regional Tasmania
