The Role

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for completing skilled work including preparation, patching, and painting on all building structures. Your day may look like:

  • Prepping and painting walls, floors, and ceilings
  • Painting woodwork, furniture, and fixtures
  • Organizing contractors for large-scale projects
  • Effective stock control
  • Creating effective paint schedules
  • Assisting the styling team with bespoke projects
  • Carrying out painting works in other Merivale venues when needed

You are

  • Trade qualified or equal in experience
  • Have a current NSW driver's license
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of painting techniques and finishes
  • Experience managing materials, stock holds, and orders
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate and provide reports
