BIM Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a BIM specialist.

The primary goal of this position is to assist in the creation of GDL Archicad library parts, maintain and enhance Archicad templates, research and develop new tools and workflows, produce documentation and training materials, provide technical support to drafters, and build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

About the role:

• Develop and manage GDL Archicad library parts to improve drafting efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance Archicad templates for consistency and quality.
• Research and implement new tools and workflows to increase accuracy and productivity.
• Produce clear and engaging documentation and training materials to support colleagues.
• Provide technical assistance to drafters across the organization.
• Foster effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

About you:

• Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Archicad, including GDL scripting and template development.
• Experience creating and managing BIM libraries and custom tools.
• Able to produce clear and concise documentation and training materials.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Detailed oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proactive and innovative with a focus on workflow improvements.
• Able to build strong relationships across departments.
