The Water Resources Engineer - Technical Director position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead technical aspects of engineering design and analysis for various projects.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver surface water projects supporting large-scale transportation initiatives, risk-based assessments, and conventional flood studies.
- Act as Technical Lead guiding key projects and mentoring other staff.
- Oversee the application of software tools for impact assessment, risk evaluations, concept design, and compliance.
- Degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or similar with industry experience.
- In-depth understanding of relevant guidelines and methodologies (e.g., ARR 2019).
- Hands-on experience applying hydrologic and hydraulic skills in transport infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with advanced tools such as CFD, risk assessment software LifeSim, Python, R, or civil design packages 12D/Civil3D.
- Able to provide technical mentorship and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
