Job Title: DCA Administration Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DCA Administration Officer to join our team at Transurban. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a critical role in supporting the active administration of debt collection agencies engaged by our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action and resolve DCA enquires within target time frames, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding credit management and customer accounting matters, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Identify customers experiencing financial hardship and assist them with payment solution options, ensuring a fair and compassionate approach.
  • Monitor systems and processes to ensure timely handling of DCA files and escalate issues promptly, minimizing potential bad debts.
  • Effectively identify and minimize potential bad debts and negotiate favorable outcomes within a timely manner, aligning with Transurban policies.
  • Liaise with the DCA to negotiate debt outcomes and monitor payment plans and hardship referrals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and credit reporting methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit, accounts receivable or DCA management function, with exposure to high workload volumes.
  • A strong knowledge of credit or DCA processes, collection techniques, relevant legislation and credit reporting methodologies.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel functions and Outlook skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a passion for exploring deep to develop innovative solutions, and a curious and adaptable learner eager to embrace new processes and systems.
