Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients, including diagnosing diseases, disorders and conditions, initiating treatment, and collaborating with other health professionals.
  • You will work within a dynamic and supportive team environment, covering the North Shore from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay. The program focuses on rapid response, reablement and stabilization for clients.
  • You will have the opportunity to grow as a leader, working closely with NP Professional Practice and Medical Leadership, and participate in quality improvement activities that influence health services and practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience, along with current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is required.
  • Ability to perform the full scope of NP duties and responsibilities, including applying knowledge of developmental stages, behavioral sciences, pathophysiology, psychopathology, epidemiology, and evidence-based practice to clinical diagnosis and patient management.
