Role Overview

The Early Childhood Education Leader is a senior role that oversees the Nursery Room and focuses on delivering high-quality learning programs in partnership with the Centre Director.

Responsibilities
  • Lead educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships within the team.
  • Develop the team to deliver high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
  • Ensure children's learning documentation is visible, accessible to families, and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Create an interactive learning environment that is friendly, secure and stimulating.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A current approved First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis/Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain
