About the Role
  • Plan maintenance activities for distribution equipment.
  • Complete breakdown maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure proper use, management, and storage of tools and equipment to prevent damage or degradation.
  • Collaborate with peers and third parties to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, or reduce costs.
  • Cordinate the movement of distribution assets, primarily ISO containers, for R&M activities at the Pt Kembla facility using the straddle lift device.
  • Cordinate traffic changes for distribution assets as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment, including forklifts.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of gas monitors and analysers.
  • Computer literacy with Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet skills.
  • MIG/TIG welding experience and ability to create workshop drawings.
