- Develop and implement planned activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of clients, in line with policies and guidelines.
- Liaise with family members, medical services, and external agencies to ensure seamless support and care for clients.
- Administer medication and therapies as prescribed, and seek medical assistance when necessary.
- Implement development programs and identify learning opportunities to support clients' personal growth and development.
- Certificate 4 in Disability or equivalent qualification.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities.
- A hands-on leader and team player with experience in positive behaviour support and leadership capabilities.
- The ability to develop positive relationships with service users and support their Individual Personal Plan.
- Ability to apply behaviour management strategies in complex and challenging environments.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Demonstrated compliance with NDIS requirements for Disability Support Workers.
