Job Opportunity: Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Professional to join our team as a Senior Social Worker.

In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality social work services in schools, providing support to students and their families, and working collaboratively with regional and school management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal and family counselling, therapy, and group work to students with complex needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior social workers, promoting their capability and clinical skills.
  • Conduct mental health and social welfare assessments, interventions, and follow-up support for students and families.
  • Collaborate with regional and school management teams to develop and implement effective social work services.
  • Contribute to research, development, and evaluation of best practices in social work services.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in social work or a related field.
  • Experience in providing social work services in schools or a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
