We are seeking skilled individuals to join our Maintenance Team as Apprentice Mechanical Fitters. This role offers hands-on experience and structured training, providing a solid foundation for a rewarding trade career in maintenance and mechanical fitting.
This is an exciting opportunity for those who are mechanically minded, curious about how machines work, and want to learn from experienced tradespeople in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of production equipment
- Learn how to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
- Support planned and preventative maintenance activities
- Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with guidance from qualified tradespeople
- Maintain clean and safe working conditions
- Attend off-site training with your registered training organisation as required
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in pursuing a Mechanical Fitting trade
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to teamwork, safety, and reliability
- Completion of Year 10 (minimum) with solid results in Maths and English
- A driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred but not essential)
