Senior Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in delivering marine and civil infrastructure projects.
About the ProjectsThe projects consist of jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, reclamation, and navigation aids in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
You will be responsible for leading site-based project engineering, including technical assessments & methodologies, project planning, quality assurance, finances, and liaising with senior client representatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to tackle complex challenges and drive success.
- Working closely with the onsite project team, including Project Managers, Supervisors, and specialist crew.
- Liaising and briefing subcontractors on construction plans and delegating responsibilities.
- Reviewing tender documents and preliminary designs for alternative solutions.
- Preparing cash flow budgets and reconciliations.
- Providing input in support of the company's maintenance of a safe workplace.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar site-based role with experience in delivery of marine/civil projects.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with a genuine concern for health, safety, and the environment.
- Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines.
- Team player mindset with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Competency in planning software such as MS Project or P6.
