About Our Veterinary Nursing Role:

At our veterinary clinic, we foster a collaborative environment that values teamwork and excellence. Our experienced nursing and administration teams work together to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

This is a Casual role with potential to become Permanent. You will enjoy our modern facilities, which include a dedicated staff room, ample parking, and proximity to public transportation.

The clinic is situated in a convenient location, within walking distance to local shops and amenities.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology.

Perform minor procedures as required.

Care for, handle, and clean all animals.

Ensure the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.

Provide reception services, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a professional and passionate individual who upholds clinical standards, promotes improvement, and provides fear-free/stress-free handling and care for all animals.

Requires a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2+ years of experience.

Has extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.

Exhibits excellent animal handling skills.

Displays a calm and friendly presence.

Possesses great communication and customer service skills.

Is flexible and adaptable within a team environment.

Awareness of RX Works is desirable but not essential.

No day will be the same, but you will always have a supportive team around you and wonderful clients and pets walking through the door.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing
