About the Opportunity:

  • We are looking for a Chef de Partie who can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and demonstrate a high level of organization and time management skills.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard and be able to maintain effective relationships with colleagues and management.

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Knowledge in and experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
  • Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set-ups, changeovers, closedown, and handover to standard
  • Knowledge and ability to use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
  • Calm and composed demeanor
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
