Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at Christmas Creek, Chichester Hub. As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of the Ore Processing Facility in alignment with FMG specific procedures and WHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Raise notifications and work orders in SAP
  • Perform breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant
  • Participate in modular and shutdown maintenance
  • Perform electrical statutory testing and inspections
  • Utilize high voltage switching experience
  • Operate computer-based systems, including S4Hannah, Microsoft Teams, Success factors, Fiori, BMS, PIMs, PDF Pro, Trello, and Microsoft office programs
Qualifications and Experience
  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence
  • High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching
  • Previous experience as an electrical tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment (2 years preferred maintenance)
  • Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
  • Basic instrumentation experience
  • Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
  • Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems
  • Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP (desirable)
