- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports and claims with emphasis on managing subcontractor claims, invoices, and project costs in relation to forecasts.
- Provide analytical and market-driven research to inform the selection and engagement of subcontractors, including negotiating terms and pricing, and ensuring performance aligns with project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal frameworks when managing contracts, including maintaining accurate records, adhering to key milestones, and managing performance/obligations as per the contract.
- Autonomously prepare, manage, and evaluate the tender process, including drafting tender documentation, managing pricing submissions, conducting negotiations, preparing evaluation and recommendation reports, and reviewing terms and conditions.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of contract administration, negotiation, and management, including experience in preparing and reviewing financial reports and claims. They will provide analytical and market-driven research to support business decisions and ensure effective contract management in accordance with company policies and procedures.
They must have a comprehensive understanding of contract law and be able to identify and manage risks associated with contract administration. The successful applicant will also require tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction management.
