Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing secure and efficient IT networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing Network Systems: Evaluate current network systems, capacity and performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Designing Network Infrastructure: Plan and develop network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Implementing Security Measures: Configure and install security measures including intrusion detection, encryption protocols and patch management.
  • Maintaining System Integrity: Monitor system integrity, perform troubleshooting and resolve technical faults across enterprise systems.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of systems, including backup procedures and disaster recovery plans, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT architecture, capacity planning and system migrations, and provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in systems/network engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Strong coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple programming languages, experience with software development methodologies, frameworks and best practices, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
