Custom Power Solutions Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to assemble, wire, test and commission custom DC power cabinets. This is a critical role requiring expertise in electrical schematics, layout diagrams and scopes of work.

This position involves wiring and assembling industrial DC power cabinets to custom specifications, installing UPS, battery banks and AC/DC/DC conversion equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with DC systems or industrial switchboards/cabinets, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting quality checks and functional testing, collaborating with engineers, project managers and production teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Cert III or higher in Electrotechnology/Electrical Fitting
  • Experience with DC systems or industrial switchboards/cabinets
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with tools, test equipment and soldering
  • High attention to detail
