">We are seeking a skilled Engine Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines and related components at customer sites with minimal direction.
About the Role
">This is a field-based position that requires travel to various locations, including customer sites, service centers, and warehouses. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs on engines and related components.
Responsibilities
">The key responsibilities of this role include:
- ">
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner to ensure prompt and efficient attention to their needs.">
- Applying specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.">
- Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.">
- Performing preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field.">
- Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.">
- Maintaining service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.">
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislations.">

- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.">
