SKG Radiology offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care and education to patients in our radiology department.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the radiologist in interventional procedures including PICC line insertions, deep organ biopsies, infusaport, and nephrostomy tube insertion.
  • Utilize ward nursing skills in the radiology setting to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with AHPRA is essential.
  • A minimum of recent solid clinical nursing experience.
  • An unwavering commitment to prioritizing patients' needs.
  • A compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Superb communication and time management skills.
  • Ongoing professional development and a desire to continually improve skills.

This is a part-time position requiring a 30-hour fortnightly commitment, worked across Mondays and Tuesdays. Shifts will be 7.5 hours in duration, operated between 7:45am and 5:30pm, allowing for flexibility with start and finish times. Participation in the weekend roster and on-call shifts is a mandatory requirement for this role.
