Assistant Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director to join our team at Day One Early Learning Centres in Mission Beach. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director in managing our high-performing centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a high-quality education program that focuses on purposeful observation and individualized learning journeys.
  • Assist the Director in centre operations and assume temporary responsibility in their absence, ensuring seamless daily management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, manage the team, and effectively utilize Xplor for bookings and parent accounts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of trust and open communication.
  • Model exceptional leadership and professionalism, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Implement centre policies and procedures with integrity and dedication.
Requirements:
  • ACECQA-approved Diploma level qualification or higher.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Director in early childhood education.
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, and National Quality Framework.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xplor, and HR systems.
  • Current valid Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Training.
  • Ability to act as the responsible person in the Director's absence.
