Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and instructions to operate machinery and tools efficiently.
• Create high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery according to client specifications and design plans.
• Select suitable materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
• Plan and execute projects effectively to meet deadlines.
• Assemble cabinets from standard and custom components.
• Apply finishes such as sealant, varnish, and paint as required.
• Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves.
• Inspect completed items for accuracy and finish quality.
• Repair and maintain cabinet elements that require servicing.
• Wear the required uniform and adhere to safety protocols.
• Advise on product care upon request.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• AQF Certificate III/IV in relevant field.
• At least 1 year of prior experience as a Cabinetmaker.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising workmanship.
