Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing students for careers in occupational therapy by delivering curricula that focus on interdisciplinary health care knowledge, occupational science, therapy practices for participation, research application, and professional attitudes and skills.

The lecturer will lead the development of curriculum related to psychological theories and research in health and human behavior, particularly in occupational therapy. Responsibilities include teaching, research, supervising honours and postgraduate students, publishing high-quality research, securing external funding, and contributing to national and international discipline development. The role may also involve administrative duties, departmental planning, and program development, especially at the Senior Lecturer level.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral or master's qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in psychological theories.
  • A strong publication record in refereed journals and textbooks or similar resources.
  • Experience in tertiary teaching environments.
  • Proven research leadership and project management skills.
