Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant/Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist. This role offers ample opportunities for skill advancement and personal development in a dynamic work environment.

The Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, providing continued excellent care to our patients
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists
  • Provide instrument sterilization
  • Maintain infection control standards and procedures
  • Meet and greet patients, creating a positive first impression
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records
  • Support the practice manager and clinical team with the smooth operation of the practice
  • Maintain patient awareness of dental services and offers
  • Handle payments while maintaining patient confidentiality
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 months+ experience as a Dental Assistant, with some front office experience
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to tackle challenges independently and as part of a team, focusing on details
  • Strong customer care focus, with effective time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maturity and reliability
  • Passion for delivering customer service/patient care
  • Organizational skills with a knack for systematic approaches
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, presenting a cheerful demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
