Job Title: Asset Strategy EngineerOverview: This role focuses on asset lifecycle planning, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance for substations as part of the transmission network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing asset class strategies, asset design manuals, maintenance strategies, and functional requirements. They will also review capability and authority for deviations from existing standards and adoption of new practices related to detailed design, plant selection, and acceptance. The successful engineer will manage existing and emerging risks associated with construction, commissioning, installation, testing, and operation. Additionally, they will support the asset investment function by assisting the delivery team from planning through to handover as the owner customer. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement asset class strategies, asset design manuals, maintenance strategies, and functional requirements. 2. Review capability and authority for deviations from existing standards and adoption of new practices related to detailed design, plant selection, and acceptance. 3. Manage existing and emerging risks associated with construction, commissioning, installation, testing, and operation. 4.
