Lifting Gear Inspector Role

As a Lifting Gear Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting and height safety equipment used by clients across various industries in Australia. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, ability to work autonomously, and confident operation at heights.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organization as a Lifting Gear Inspector, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining new and existing lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting lifting and height safety equipment to ensure it meets Australian Standards.
  • Repairing and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Installing new equipment and ensuring proper setup.
  • Visiting client sites to conduct inspections and provide support.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in the lifting and rigging industry.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and work independently.
  • Problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Confident operation at heights.
  • Comfortable using technology and working from a tablet.
  • A current driver's license.
