About Our Role

Lumus Imaging seeks an experienced registered or enrolled nurse to join our team working in our medical imaging department. You will be reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager and working closely with radiographers and radiologists providing general nursing services to outpatients and hospital inpatients.

This is a great opportunity for professional growth and development, offering friendly working hours between 9 am – 5 pm with on call shift work. The role also includes participating in imaging procedures in various modalities such as Ultrasound, CT, and Fluoroscopy.

We are located at Werribee Mercy Hospital, a dynamic public general hospital offering a wide range of services including surgical, maternity, orthopaedic, and emergency care. The hospital has grown rapidly since its opening in 1994 and continues to expand with new facilities including a new emergency department currently under construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing general nursing services to outpatients and hospital inpatients
  • Participating in imaging procedures in various modalities
  • Liaising and supporting radiographers and radiologists
  • Coordinating and planning interventional procedures
Requirements
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Maintain accreditation by attendance at seminars and lectures
  • Relevant Working with Children checks
