Job Title: Software Engineer Leader

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for designing new features, implementing strategies, and ensuring they align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain features that meet high-quality standards and user requirements.
  • Lead feature design and implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforcing coding conventions and providing actionable suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams, including pairing and mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Independently manage tasks and features, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience with React for web application development.
  • Experience with backend programming languages such as TypeScript (Node.js), C#, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with observability principles in software engineering (logging, monitoring, alerting).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Practical knowledge of basic security practices in web development.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work on complex projects, tasks, and features.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to provide technical guidance and support to team members and mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Attention to Detail: Willingness to take responsibility for the quality of engineering solutions, considering performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to create system designs, perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and communicate with stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience shipping mobile apps to production.
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Experience in a Product-Oriented Environment: Familiarity working with Product Managers, UX designers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience with Distributed Systems: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure; containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; microservices architecture; unit testing frameworks and test-driven development; CI/CD pipelines.
