Nurse Care Manager

High-quality patient care is at the heart of our healthcare service. We require an experienced Oncology Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver patient-centric nursing care based on evidence and best practices
- Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to strict protocols and guidelines
- Lead, direct, and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver exceptional patient care
- Provide education and support to individuals/patients for effective management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years recent Oncology Nursing experience, be proficient in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration, IV Cannulation & Accessing of CVAD/Ports, and ADAC trained and certified. They will also exhibit sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Required Qualifications:- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Oncology Nursing, preferably in a private hospital setting
- Competence in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration, IV Cannulation & Accessing of CVAD/Ports, and ADAC training/certification
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
