About the role of Packing Operator:

This key position plays a crucial part in achieving production targets by ensuring packing stock meets these goals. The individual is responsible for accurately palletising products before transferring them to the warehouse, operating and adjusting carton printer machines, and monitoring packing processes during production.

Key responsibilities include detecting non-conformities, conducting metal detector testing, recording checks of finished products, and advising on packaging stock that does not meet specifications.

Required skills and qualifications:
  • A reliable, conscientious individual with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to adhere to hygiene guidelines and standards.
  • Maintaining consistency and understanding quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to read and decipher documentation, and work harmoniously within a small team.
