Overview

At Macquarie, our Commodities and Global Markets division integrates specialized knowledge, risk management, and capital solutions to empower our clients in navigating global markets such as equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities. The Business Operational Risk Management team is pivotal in enhancing our processes, controls, and overall operational risk posture across our global operations.

Your Role

As a vital member of the Business Operational Risk Management Control Assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating control assurance evaluations throughout the Commodities and Global Markets sector. Your initial focus will be on remediated and division-wide controls, assisting in the comprehensive management of assurance processes and providing oversight for risk and control representations within the risk and control register. Additionally, you will contribute to the establishment of an assurance virtual practice aimed at promoting consistency and fostering automation alongside continuous assurance.

What You Bring

• Over 6 years of experience in audit, assurance, operational risk, or compliance
• Proven knowledge and experience within the Financial Services sector
• A strong risk-oriented mindset
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience in front office or Line 1 Risk is a plus.
