Horticultural Labourer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Horticultural Labourer to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to garden maintenance, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
  
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  
• Assist with garden maintenance tasks, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You

• 
  
• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  
• Valid Drivers Licence
  
• White Card
  
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  
• Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
