Health, Safety & Wellbeing Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety & Wellbeing professional to lead the development and implementation of proactive health and safety strategies across diverse operations.

  • Oversee regional HSW strategy and critical risk programs across multiple sites in Victoria/Tasmania and South Australia/Northern Territory
  • Mentor partners and advisors to strengthen capability and enhance leadership skills
  • Manage audits, regulator liaison, and complex investigations to drive improvement and ensure compliance

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification, 5+ years of experience in senior WHS roles, and strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance, and risk management.

Key responsibilities include leading the planning and delivery of HSW programs and initiatives, managing risk registers, incident reporting, and regulator liaison, mentoring and coaching HSW Partners and Advisors, delivering training and capability-building across sites, and shaping safety leadership and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • 5+ years in senior WHS roles
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance, and risk management
  • Proven experience leading investigations and driving improvement
