Lead AI Engineer Position

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Lead AI Engineer who can help us solve our most interesting technical challenges. You'll collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to build and scale AI-powered recommendation systems impacting millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance recommendation components powering candidate matching at global scale
  • Own system architecture decisions and evolve them using industry best practices and SEEK's engineering principles
  • Take full ownership of your services in production – ensuring uptime, rapid troubleshooting, and meeting performance SLAs

Technical Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong coding skills in Python, Scala, or Java
  • Advanced AWS cloud platform experience and proven ability to build scalable, resilient systems
  • Solid SQL skills, Linux/Bash proficiency, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
