Regional Development Manager

Our organization is the leading provider of industrial plant and equipment auctions globally.

Due to significant growth in our operations, we are seeking a skilled Regional Development Manager based in Victoria.

The Role:

This position is ideal for a machinery professional with strong business development skills who can effectively manage and grow existing customer relationships while securing new consignments.

  1. Sales Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a sales growth strategy that maximizes revenue from new and existing customers.
  2. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share.
  3. Auction Yard Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of our auction yard, ensuring timely consignment of equipment.

Our Regional Managers have the flexibility to operate globally where potential customers exist.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you should be:

  1. A highly motivated and results-driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  2. Experienced in business development, sales, and customer relationship management.
  3. Competent in analyzing market trends and identifying new business opportunities.
  4. Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent time manager and able to meet deadlines.
  6. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the Construction, Agriculture, Transport sector or associated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Experience attending relevant industry events.
  • Established network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent understanding of the national and global market.
  • Knowledge of the Auction industry, buying, selling, and bid-catching at auctions.
