About the Role: As a Cold Storage Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial part in supporting our team at Baiada's Pendle Hill facility. Your primary responsibilities will include operating counterbalance and high-reach forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly scan items using RF technology to facilitate accurate and efficient order fulfillment
  • Pick and pack orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Prepare items for dispatch and distribution by maintaining accurate records and adhering to quality control standards
  • Work effectively in -18-degree freezer environments while prioritizing your own safety and the safety of others

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a valid forklift license, previous experience operating heavy machinery, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have double deep experience and own a reliable vehicle, these will be highly regarded.

Salary & Benefits: This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $35.83 p/h plus allowances, allowing you to contribute to your financial goals while gaining valuable work experience. Monday to Friday roster availability with options for afternoon or night shifts enables a healthy work-life balance.
