We are seeking an Optical Mechanic or Worker with experience in Optical Edging and Fitting, QC and Optical Tinting. With a focus on providing customers with the best possible experience, we are looking for a confident and dedicated person who is committed to producing quality products – first time, every time. Our teams work efficiently and collaboratively to produce quality products and deliver to a high level of customer and consumer satisfaction.

The role involves working as part of a team across the lab and may involve tasks such as marking up and blocking optical lenses, edging of optical lenses, fitting variety of lens types such as rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames, tinting, final quality checking of completed fitting jobs, pre-quality control and tracing a variety of frame types.

To be successful in this position, you will need fine motor skills and ability to handle individual lenses carefully throughout the coating process, highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, high attention to detail, reliable, punctual, proactive and enthusiastic.
