We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for building and managing client relationships, generating revenue, and developing complex commercial relationships.
This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.
As our Indirect Tax professional, you will:
- Develop and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecycle and increase operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization, credits, and refund recovery, and exposure reduction.
You will need:
- Substantial experience in Indirect Tax within a professional services accounting firm or law firm, or from working with another large organisation.
- Strong technical skills in the field of indirect tax, principally in Stamp Duty.
- Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills in regard to market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
