Planning Enforcement Specialist

This role is critical in a council's planning department, involving the management of planning investigations and enforcement activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, and taking appropriate action to ensure compliance with planning regulations.

  • Manage planning investigations and establish procedures for conducting effective investigations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve set objectives and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving planning compliance and resolving development disputes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Planning or a related field.
  • Proven experience in statutory planning and investigation procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
