Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Digital Commercial Strategist to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney. This is a full-time, maximum-term contract position that offers a competitive salary package.

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Digital Commercial Strategist, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing revenue opportunities and shaping our digital initiatives to drive business performance. Your expertise will help us prioritize resources, maximize return on investment, and inform our test and learn program.

You'll work closely with our commercial and analytical teams to develop financial business cases, evaluate digital product initiatives, and provide actionable insights to improve decision-making.

  • Analyze digital and commercial data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Transform analytical output into actionable insights that drive business performance
  • Participate in solution design, delivery, and development to align with commercial and strategic objectives
  • Analyze individual digital product initiatives for revenue opportunities based on impact on conversion, average fare, and ancillary revenue
  • Provide data insights to enhance initiatives as they progress through implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Business, Economics, Finance, etc.)
  • At least 3 years' post-graduate experience in management consulting or a similar commercial/analytical role
  • Experience analyzing digital and commercial data, forecasting revenue opportunities, and operating with ambiguity
  • Advanced Excel, PowerBI, and digital skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail, understanding of the digital, financial, and commercial aspects of the industry, and knowledge of Adobe suite (AEM, Target, Analytics)
