Kindergarten Education Assistant

This role is an opportunity to be part of a team helping children of all abilities thrive in their kindergarten environment.
As a key member of the service team, you will deliver the kindergarten program and share everyday team responsibilities.
- Assist with play-based learning activities for all children, promoting inclusivity and creativity.
- Support daily care routines and maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the well-being of children.
Our Additional Assistants work across the whole room, assisting kindergarten teachers and educators to provide fun and inclusive activities for all children.
The role involves lifting, carrying, and moving children and objects, as well as working at lower levels, such as on the floor or using small furniture.
A kindergarten placement typically involves 7.5 to 15 hours per week during the school term.
Hours vary between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm, depending on each kindergarten's service schedule.
Induction and ongoing supervision and support are provided by the Kindergarten Inclusion Support team.
