About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be operating in a call centre environment, answering queries and providing relevant information regarding the Australian Government's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

You will provide high-quality customer service and timely advice for pharmaceutical issues, and liaise with a range of both internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication and the ability to build positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience as a Dispense Technician
  • A minimum Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications
  • A good understanding of the Australian Government Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills / the ability to learn new systems
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate - $41 per hour + super + penalty rates for afternoon / night / weekends
  • 4 – 5 week induction
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Required to be available and flexible to work across a seven-day roster. Weekend, late, and evening work is completed from home.
  • Work for a Federal Government department

Successful candidates must be Australian Citizens and be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance.
