We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Surface Water & Land team in Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in hydrology, with experience across several areas such as flooding, water management, water quality and water balance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects across renewable energy, mining, and urban development sectors.

Job Description

As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering technical support and advice across various areas including flooding, water management, water quality, and water balance;
  • Working across the full project life-cycle - feasibility, planning, approvals, operations, closure, and rehab;
  • Contributing to renewable energy, mining, and urban development projects; and
  • Playing a key role in the continued success of the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in civil or environmental engineering;
  • Strong computer programming skills and CPENG or RPEQ;
  • Proven capability in project management and/or a strong desire to grow project management skills;
  • Highly developed research, analysis, and report writing skills;
  • Respect, integrity, and humility; and
  • Previous experience in mining projects is essential, with experience in renewable energy projects desirable.
