Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time permanent Medical Receptionist. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and the chance to collaborate with various teams across our clinics. The working hours will vary, with shifts scheduled between 6:15 am and 5:30 pm, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings as overtime to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional patient care, maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.
  • Facilitate patient arrivals and manage clinical appointment scheduling at the front desk.
  • Handle financial transactions, including accounts management and Medicare batching.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as processing booking requests via email and fax.
  • Manage internal communications and redirect calls as necessary.
  • Conduct data entry and billing tasks efficiently.
  • Take on additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Professional demeanor with outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail in handling confidential information and data entry.
  • Proficient in technology with a solid understanding of various systems.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check if not already available.
